John had always been a bit of a skeptic, so when he found a portal hidden in the basement of his house, he wasn’t exactly excited. But when he stepped through, he found himself in a strange world.
He was standing on a grassy plain, surrounded by beautiful, colorful mountains. In the distance he could see a large city covered in a shining dome. As he got closer, he could see that the city was made of actual gold.
He walked through the city, admiring the intricate designs and sparkling windows. He had never seen anything so beautiful. Suddenly, he heard a noise behind him and turned to see a giant dragon flying towards him.
The dragon was beautiful, with a silver body and bright green wings. It twirled around and opened its mouth, ready to eat John.
But before it could reach him, John opened his hands and a magic ball appeared. He threw the ball at the dragon, and it hit it in the forehead. The dragon screeched and crashed to the ground, imprisoned within the ball.
John was delighted, and he walked back through the portal, excited to show his friends what he had found.
