John had always been interested in the supernatural. He used to read horror novels in his teens, and dreamed of one day discovering a portal to the other side. Finally, after years of wanderlust, he found it. Standing in front of a beautiful, shimmering door was a girl with long, dark hair.
“What is this place?” John asked her, his voice trembling with excitement.
“It’s a portal to the Other Side,” she said. “But be very careful, it’s not always safe.”
John stepped through the door, and was immediately plunged into darkness. But he didn’t care, he was headed to the wonderful world of the paranormal!
