Braxton woke up from his nap to the sound of his alarm blaring. Five more hours of sleep and he could finally relax. He stretched and yawned before getting out of bed.
He had a busy day ahead of him. He had a meeting at the office at 9AM and then he had a date with his girlfriend at night. He couldn’t wait to see her.
Braxton checked his phone and saw that there was a message from his best friend, Jake.
Hey man, have you ever heard of a portal?
Braxton’s heart skipped a beat as he read the message. He had always wanted to try out a portal himself. He had always wondered what was on the other side.
He got online and found a few portals that he could try. He chose one that was close to his house.
As he approached the portal, he could feel his nerves start to get the best of him. He had no idea what was on the other side.
But he had to try it. He had to see what was waiting for him.
Braxton stepped through the portal and found himself in a strange place. He was surrounded by blue and white lit crystals. He could also see a stream of water flowing through the crystals.
He took a step forward and the crystals shimmered. Suddenly, he was plunged into darkness.
