Ronald was dozing off in his chair at work when he felt a sudden jolt. He sat up, rubbing his eyes, when he saw a hole in the wall next to his desk. He got up, approached the hole, and peered inside. What he saw next completely surprised him. There was a bright yellow portal standing before him, with swirling clouds and a beautiful sunrise behind it. Ronald couldn’t believe his eyes. He had never seen anything like it before.
He stepped through the portal, and found himself in a magical land. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the vegetation was lush and green. He walked for hours, exploring every corner of this new world. Eventually, he came to a river that flowed through the center of the magical land.
Ronald decided to take a swim in the river. As he entered the cool water, he felt a sense of bliss wash over him. He floated on the surface for a while, enjoying the tranquility of the magical land. Suddenly, he heard a loud noise in the distance. He swam towards the sound, and found a gigantic battle taking place. Dozens of people were fighting, and blood was streaming down their bodies. Ronald was horrified.
He swam back to the banks of the river and climbed out. He was so shaken by what he had seen that he didn’t want to stay in the magical land anymore. He climbed back through the portal and re-entered the real world. As he emerged back into reality, he saw the battle unfolding before him. He felt a sadness well up inside him, and he knew that he would never forget what he had seen in the magical land.
