Rick discovered the portal one day while walking in the woods. It was hidden behind a large tree, and when Rick leaned down to look closer, he saw a magicallight emanating from the entrance. Tentatively, he reached out and touched the light, and within seconds, he was transported into the other realm.
He found himself in a beautiful forest filled with towering trees and bubbling brooks. The plants and trees seemed to be made out of shimmering water droplets, and the air was warm and humid. Rick didn’t know what to do first, so he just explored the realm.
Eventually, he came across a small stream, and after drinking from it, he felt more invigorated than he had in months. He decided to continue exploring, and soon he discovered a large palace. It was made out of crystalline glass, and the floors and walls were adorned with delicate ivory sculptures.
Rick was awestruck by the beauty of the palace, and he wanted to stay there forever. But then he remembered that he had to get back home to his wife and children. He took a deep breath and began to walk back the way he had come.
When he reached the portal, he could barely contain his excitement. He touched the light and was transported back home. He saw his wife and children waiting for him, and they were just as happy to see him as he was to see them.
The experience had completely blown Rick’s mind, and he couldn’t wait to go back again.
