Prompt: Write a short story about a man who discovers a magical portal
Response:
Terry found the portal while exploring an old abandoned warehouse. It was hidden amongst the debris of what once was a prosperous building. As he was clearing a space to examine it further, he heard a voice calling from the other side.
“Hello Terry. I’m glad you found my portal.”
The voice belonged to a beautiful woman. She looked to be in her late twenties or early thirties. Her skin was tan and her hair was a deep black. She was wearing a flowing white dress and had a magical rune carved into her forehead.
Terry was sceptical at first, but curiosity got the better of him. He stepped through the portal and found himself in a new and exciting world.
