John had always been fascinated by portals, especially the strange ones he found in books. So when he found an old book with a strange portal in it, he knew he had to investigate.
He broke the seal and opened the book to a page with a diagram of a portal. Excited, he started to explore it, but quickly found himself in a strange place. He was surrounded by bizarre creatures and couldn’t find his way out.
Desperate, John reached for the book, but it was gone. The portal had taken him away, and John had never seen it again.
