As Paul Stewart stepped out of the shower, he noticed a small, round hole in the bathroom wall. Intrigued, he pressed his hand against it and felt a warm breeze flow through. Encouraged, he pushed a bit more and, to his surprise, the hole widened into a large, magical portal. Stepping through, he found himself in a strange and wonderful world.
The portal led him to a sunny clearing in the middle of a vast, green forest. There, he found a small bench and sat down to take in his new surroundings. Within minutes, he was surrounded by singing fairies who invited him to join them for lunch.
Spontaneously, Paul stood up and started walking through the forest. He didn’t know where he was going, but he was fascinated by the beauty and magic of the place. After hours of wandering, he found himself at the edge of a vast cliff. Below, he could see a beautiful valley filled with lavish homes and plantations.
Suddenly, he heard a voice calling his name. Turning, he saw a young woman walked toward him. She was stunningly beautiful with long, blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. She smiled warmly at him and extended her hand.
“I’m glad you found me, Paul,” she said. “I’m Mary, the Queen of Fairies.”
“Is this a dream, Mary?” Paul asked. “Because if it is, I would love to stay and explore this world more.”
“It’s not a dream, Paul,” Mary replied. “This is truly and magically beautiful world.”
“Then this must be heaven,” Paul declared with a smile. “Thank you, Queen Mary, for showing me this wonderful place.”
With that, the two friends walked hand in hand back through the portal and back to Paul’s shower, where he happily returned to reality. Someday, he thought, he might return to explore this wonderful place further. In the meantime, he would savor every moment he spent in this enchanted world.
