Prompt: Write a short story about a man who discovers a magical portal

Henry was just about to go to bed when he heard a knock at the door. He wasn’t sure who it could be, but he got up to answer it anyway. When he opened the door, he was surprised to find a woman standing there. She looked familiar, but he couldn’t place her.
“Can I help you?” Henry asked.
“Yes, I think so. I saw your sign out front and I thought I would stop by and see if you had any books for sale.”
“I do! Come on in and I’ll show you.”
Henry led the woman into the bookstore and down to the section that he stocked with books about magic. When he found the book that she was looking for, he grabbed it for her.
“Thank you! I’ve been wanting to buy this for a while now. I’m sorry to have taken so long to find it. Thanks for your help.”
Henry was a little surprised by the woman’s reaction. Usually people were more nervous or excited when they found out that he was a wizard. He wasn’t sure if he should be flattered or not. He decided to just go with it and go to bed.
