John had always been a bit of a skeptic. He never believed in magic, ghosts, or other supernatural existences. But one day, he was out walking in the woods and found a strange portal. He didn’t know what it was, but he felt drawn to it. When he stepped through, he found himself in a strange, dark place. But as he walked through the portal, he began to see flashes of light. And soon, he reached a beautiful, light-filled room. In the room, he saw a young girl. She looked lost and scared. John felt a sense of responsibility to help her, so he walked up to her and asked her what was wrong. She told him that she was lost and scared, and she had no idea where she was. John told her that he would help her find her way home. And then, without warning, the portal closed behind him. John was suddenly back in the woods, alone. But in his heart, he knew that he had found his new mission in life: to help the lost and scared, no matter where they may be in the world.
