Prompt: Write a short story about a man who discovers a magical portal

Harry had always been an open-minded individual, so when he stumbled upon a mysterious portal one day, he didn’t hesitate to take a look inside. What he found was unlike anything he’d ever seen before. There were bright colors and bright lights everywhere, and it was as if he was stepping into a dream.
As he walked through the portal, Harry felt as if he was rising up into the sky. It was a breathtaking experience, and as he looked down at the ground below him, he realized that he was no longer in the city he was originally in. He was now in some sort of lush and green valley, and as he looked around, he saw that there were other portals leading off of it in all directions.
This was the most incredible thing that had ever happened to him, and he quickly began exploring all of the portals. He found that they led to all sorts of different places, and he was quickly learning about the different magical creatures that lived in them.
Harry was in love with this newfound world, and he spent hours every day exploring the different portals. He never wanted to leave, and he was soon known as the Portal King of the city.
