One day, while browsing the internet, John stumbled upon a mysterious website that claimed to have a portal to the future. If he paid the fee, he could gain access to the portal and explore the future himself.
John was hesitant at first, but he decided to go ahead and pay the fee. When he entered the portal, he found himself in a strange place. There were machines all around him, and he could see a future in which humans had merged with machines.
John was horrified by this vision, and he quickly exited the portal. He never returned to that website again, but the memory of it has haunted him ever since.
