Jim had always been a curious man. He had always been drawn to the unknown, and so it was no surprise that he became a detective. One day, while investigating a crime scene, Jim discovered a magical portal. He stepped through and found himself in a strange land. There were castles and forests and fields. Jim was lost for a while, but he eventually found his way back home. When he returned, he told his colleagues about his discovery, and they were so amazed that he had actually found a portal that they made him head of the portal investigation unit. Jim was thrilled to be able to help people find their way home again, and he was sure that he would continue to do so for years to come.
