Doug cautiously approached the shimmering portal, not knowing what might be on the other side. He had found it just a few days ago, concealed in a fold in the ground. Initially, he had been skeptical, but after a little investigation, he realized it was true – there was something magical about this portal.
As he stepped through, the portal whisked him away to an amazing new world. He was in a beautiful forest, surrounded by big trees and fresh-looking streams. There was a soft breeze blowing, and the sun was shining.
He explored the forest for a while, but eventually grew restless. He decided to head back through the portal. As he emerged, he noticed that the portal had disappeared. He looked around, but it was gone.
Doug was puzzled, but since the portal had shown him such a beautiful place, he decided to visit again soon.
