Tommy wasn’t sure what he was expecting when he found the portal, but it wasn’t the beautiful scenery before him. Instead, he found himself in an old, derelict library. The only thing that was still working was the tome he had found lying on the floor. It looked old and well-worn, but when he touched it, he could feel the power humming through it.
Suddenly, the tome let out a low, eerie cry, and Tommy could feel something happening inside of it. The pages started to turn, and before he knew it, he was stepping through the portal.
When he returned, everything was different. The library was now restored and sparkling clean, and the tome was gone. But Tommy knew that it had been there, waiting for him, and he was glad he had found it.
