Mike didn’t know what the book was called, but he knew he had to have it. He paid for it and took it home.
The next day, Mike decided to try out the magic portal in his backyard. He closed his eyes and concentrated. Suddenly, he found himself inside a remarkable looking world. He was surrounded by sunny fields and a beautiful waterfall. He waved his hand and the portal disappeared.
Mike was amazed. He had just discovered his first magical portal. He was so excited, he couldn’t stop thinking about it. He went back to the book store the next day and bought another book on magic portals. He was determined to learn as much as he could.
