Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter and flour a 9×13 inch baking dish.

3. In a large bowl, cream butter and chocolate chips until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4. Add buttermilk and vanilla extract and mix until smooth. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.

5. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Let cake cool in the dish for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
