3/4 cup (180 ml) sugar

3 large eggs

1 cup (240 ml) all-purpose flour

1/4 cup (60 ml) vegetable oil

1/4 cup (60 ml) light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.

In a large bowl, whisk together oil, sugar, eggs, and flour. Add vinegar and oil mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing well. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract.

Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean. Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes; remove from pans and cool completely on a wire rack.
