1 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Butter and sugar a 9×13 inch baking pan.
2. In a Large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into the baking pan.
3. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick or cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool cake before cutting and serving.
