Brian was bored. He had been working at his job for over a year, and nothing ever changed. The same people always worked there, and the same routines never changed. He was getting a bit stir-crazy.
That’s when he discovered the portal.
At first, he didn’t believe it. But then, when he tried to leave through the door, it simply wouldn’t budge. He peered inside the portal and could see bright lights and swirling colors. It looked like a beautiful place, and he couldn’t help but wonder what it could be like inside.
Slowly but surely, Brian became more and more intrigued by the portal. He found himself spending longer and longer periods of time in there, exploring every nook and cranny.
Eventually, he decided that he wanted to see what was on the other side of the portal. He gathered all of his courage and stepped through.
When he arrived, he was completely astounded. The place he had arrived in was unlike anything he had ever seen before. It was a beautiful land, full of ravines and mountains. There were also strange creatures roaming around, but Brian didn’t mind. In fact, he found them quite fascinating.
It was all so different from the dull world he had been living in before. From now on, Brian would always remember the portal as the place that had given him the adventure of a lifetime.
