John had always been fascinated by the supernatural, and when he was younger he used to read all of the Harry Potter novels. When he was in college, he decided to take a folklore class and discovered the world of portal magic. He was amazed by the stories of people who used portals to travel to other worlds.
One day, John was browsing the web when he found a blog post about a new portal opening up in town. He quickly printed out the directions and headed to the location. When he arrived, he saw a group of people gathered around a hole in the ground. He stepped through the portal and found himself in a strange world.
The first thing he noticed was the heat. It was so hot that he could hardly stand it. He quickly realized that he was in the middle of a desert. He walked for a few minutes, but eventually he lost the path and became lost. He was about to give up when he heard a voice calling him.
He turned around and saw a woman standing there. She said her name was Robin and she was the guardian of the portal. She told John that he needed to find the Pure One to open the portal to the other world. She told him to follow the light and he would find him.
John followed the light and soon he saw a man standing in front of a castle. The man told John that he needed to find the sword to open the portal to the other world. John was able to find the sword and opened the portal. He returned to the world he had been in before, but he was now a different person. He no longer believed in magic, but he was still fascinated by it.
