In the dark of night, sitting in his spooky old house, John heard a loud noise coming from his attic. It sounded like something was opening and closing. He grabbed a flashlight and climbed the stairs to investigate.
In the attic, he found a small door that seemed to be made of metal strands. He pushed it open and found himself in a strange place…
There was a bright light and he suddenly felt very strange. He didn’t know where he was or why he was there, but he knew he had to find a way back home.
He walked through the portal and when he emerged, he was back in his house. He rubbed his eyes and Hearthstone, his dog, came running to him.
“Where have you been, boy?” John asked. “I was getting worried about you.”
He closed the door to the attic and went back to bed, feeling a little confused but also very excited about his new discovery. He couldn’t wait to explore this place further at night.
