Prompt: Write a short story about a man who discovers a magical portal

It was a cool autumn day, and the man had just finished working on his tractor in the field next to his house. He was about to go inside to take a shower and change his clothes when he saw something out of the corner of his eye. He squinted and saw a small light in the sky. He didn’t know what it was, so he walked closer to investigate.
As he got closer, he could see that the light was a portal, and when he stepped through it, he found himself in a strange place. There were trees and flowers everywhere, and the sky was a beautiful blue. He was so surprised by all of it that he didn’t know what to do. Then he saw the source of the light – a large castle, and he knew that this must be the portal home.
He walked towards the castle, and when he got close, he saw a man in a white robe walking out of it. The man looked surprised to see the man, and then he smiled. The man could see that the man had stars in his eyes, and he knew that he was looking at a magical being.
The man walked up to the man and smiled. The man could tell that the man was happy to see him, and he felt a warmth inside of him. Then the man saw the man’s hands, and he saw that the man’s hands were empty. The man knew that the man was a wizard, and he was so happy to meet him.
