At first, the man didn’t believe it when he saw the portal. He was out on a walk in the forest, and it was just a simple hole in the ground. He thought it was just a trick of the light, but as he got closer, he could see the glowing letters etched into the edge of the opening.
He stepped through and felt a sudden jolt of energy. He realized that he was now in a new world. The trees and the flowers were different, but the air was sweet and the sky was blue. As he walked further, he saw more and more portals, leading to different parts of the world.
He decided to explore them all. He would walk through the portal, and then find his way back home. Soon, he was travelling to different countries and meeting new people.
But as he got closer to the portal that would take him home, he began to feel uneasy. He didn’t want to leave this amazing world, but he knew that he had to. He stepped through the portal and found himself back home, but he wasn’t sure how he had managed to return. He would have to remember to explore the other portals more closely next time.
