Joshua lay in bed, scrolling through his Twitter feed when he noticed a tweet from his childhood friend, Samuel.
“Hey Josh, check out this portal I found!”
Joshua was intrigued, so he clicked the link. When he arrived, he saw Samuel standing in front of a mirror, and when he waved his hand, the portal opened.
Joshua stepped through and found himself in a completely different world. He saw a beautiful forest, a river full of fish, and a sky filled with stars.
As he walked, he noticed that the trees were moving. He followed a squirrel up a tree and saw a fantastic world below. He saw a herd of deer, a colony of bats, and a group of birds flying overhead.
He spent hours exploring the boundaries of this world, and when he came back to his own, he was just in time for dinner.
Joshua was excited by what he had seen, and he planned to go back and explore this world more later. But for now, he was happy to be back in his own world, where he could see the beauty of the Earth firsthand.
