The portal led to a world completely different than the one he was familiar with. In this world, there were giant monsters roaming the landscape and people appeared to be living in some kind of medieval society.
But even more interesting than the sights and sounds of this strange world was the fact that the portal appeared to be constantly opening and closing. Luke had never seen anything like it before, so he decided to stay and explore this new world more. He was curious to find out what would happen next.
