3. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa, eggs, vegetable oil, buttermilk and vanilla extract. pour into the dry ingredients and mix well.

4. Pour batter into the prepared pan. bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
