There was a knock on the door of his home, and without waiting for a response, the door knob turned and a strange looking man walked in. The man stared around the clean but sparse home, noting that there was no trace of a woman. He couldn’t help but wonder what could have happened to his beautiful wife.
Suddenly, the man’s curiosity was peaked when he saw a strange light emanating from one of the windows. Wondering what it could be, he walked over to the window and peered inside. What he saw made his heart race.
There, inside the portal, was a world unlike any he had ever seen. The man could see people and creatures moving about and he could hear the sound of laughter and song. It was like nothing he had ever imagined.
The man’s curiosity got the best of him and he decided to enter the portal. As he did, he felt a sudden jolt and then he was inside the other world.
He walked for hours, exploring the new place and marveling at the sights and sounds. When he finally returned home, he had a smile on his face and he knew he would never be the same.
