Two weeks ago, when I was out on a walk, I found a strange portal. As I stood there gazing at it, a brilliant light shone from within and a voice called to me. “Come through, child. I will show you the way.” I hesitated for a moment, but then I stepped through.
As soon as I crossed the threshold, I felt like I was in another world. There before me was a beautiful, azure sky, with shining stars filling it. A warm breeze caressed my skin, and the scent of wildflowers filled the air. A sense of peace and tranquility washed over me, and I knew this must be the place the voice called to me from.
I walked further into the forest and discovered a small pond where I could sit and relax. As I sat there, a small voice inside me told me to go further. I followed the voice, and soon I arrived at a large, snow-capped mountain. I climbed to the top and discovered an ancient temple. Inside, I found a portal that led back to the world I had just come from.
Now, every day, I visit the portal and explore the different worlds that it brings me to. I’ve become good friends with the creatures in each one, and I’m learning about their cultures and customs. I never expected anything like this when I stepped through that portal, but now I’m grateful for it every day.
